Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember certain information (for example, your choices) or to measure how the site is used. Similar technologies (browser local storage, pixels, scripts) work in a similar way; in this policy we call them all “cookies”.

Cookies may be first-⁠party (set by lafete.md) or third-⁠party (set by other providers, such as Google or Meta), and session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them).

Under Article 9¹(2) of Law No. 284/2004 on electronic commerce and Law No. 72/2025 on electronic communications, storing information on your device or accessing it is allowed only with your prior consent, except where strictly necessary to provide the service you requested. Therefore:

• necessary cookies are used without consent;
• analytics, marketing and functional cookies are enabled only after you accept them; until then they are switched off;
• the reCAPTCHA security cookie is used only once you start filling in a form, based on our legitimate interest in protecting forms against spam and abuse (Article 6(1)(f) of Law No. 195/2024).

Necessary

Keep the website working and secure and remember your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off in the banner.

Analytics

Show us, in aggregate, how many visitors we have, which pages are read and how people find the site (Google Analytics 4). They help us improve our content.

Marketing

Measure how well our ads perform and allow relevant ads to be shown on other websites and social networks (Google Ads, Meta Pixel).

Functional

Allow the Google Maps map on our contact page to load automatically. Without this consent, the map loads only if you click “Open the map”.

Security

Google reCAPTCHA tells humans from bots when you fill in a form, protecting us from spam.

On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept all cookies, reject all of them or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.

We use Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode v2 in basic mode: Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel tags do not load at all before you give consent, and do not load if you refuse. Your choice is stored in the lf_consent cookie for 12 months, after which we will ask you again.

The table below shows the cookies the website may use, with the provider, purpose, duration and category of each. Third-⁠party providers may change the names and durations of their cookies; we update this list regularly.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.

Once you withdraw consent, the relevant tags no longer load. Cookies already stored can be deleted in your browser settings.

Most browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) let you view, block or delete cookies, usually under Settings › Privacy. If you block all cookies, including necessary ones, some parts of the website, such as forms, may not work properly.

The Google Maps map loads only when you click “Open the map” or if you have accepted functional cookies. Links to Instagram and Facebook take you to those platforms, where their own rules apply.
